Job summary

Lathrop GPM LLP seeks a Manager - Business Development in Minneapolis, MN or Kansas City, MO to drive strategic growth. You will partner with the CCO, practice leaders, and pricing teams to win new business from existing clients and prospects.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will oversee pitches, content, and cross-functional collaboration across marketing, operations, and client innovation in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Intellectual curiosity about how lawyers support client needs.
• Strong motivation to innovate and help the firm grow.
• 7–10 years of marketing or business development experience with project management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and motivate attorneys.
• Experience contributing to marketing and communications budgets.

Responsibilities

• Strategize with CCO and Director of Business Development to grow revenue from existing and prospective clients.
• Lead the Revenue Growth Opportunity initiative and develop annual plans for assigned groups.
• Oversee pitches, proposals, and RFPs; draft content and coordinate with pricing.
• Ensure marketing content accurately reflects group experience and guides targets to hire the firm.
• Collaborate with events, CRM, and communications to maximize client engagement and brand visibility.
