A leading company seeks a Business Development Manager for the Indo-Pacific region, focusing on the US Military and INDOPACOM. Position Overview
The Business Development Manager- Indo Pacific is responsible for the pursuit of business within the Indo-Pacific region, with a focus on the US Military and INDOPACOM. The individual promotes Sea Machines Maritime autonomy and sensors, sold as a kit, or served as a turnkey service to international Naval forces, Coast Guards and Government bodies, as well as boat builders through teaming arrangements. The individual takes the lead in shaping and responding to RFI’s and RFP’s as well as proactively finding, creating and tracking business partnership opportunities across the globe.
This role requires experience in winning and managing programs within the US DoD, with knowledge of government contract vehicles and processes with allied nations in the region. The individual must possess a strong understanding of marine machinery and has a strong network specific to the marine industry and within the INDOPACOM organization. The role requires excellent writing skills and the ability to effectively promote Sea Machines technology at marketing events and industry panels. The position reports directly to the Vice President of Global Sales and is based on the West Coast of the USA, with a preference for San Diego.
