Qualifications

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Bundeswehr, dem Verteidigungsministerium oder Verteidigungs- bzw. Rüstungsunternehmen.
• Umfangreiche Erfahrung mit Projekten oder Vertrieb von IT-Technologien oder Softwarelösungen, ideal GIS.
• Netzwerke bis Entscheidungsebene in relevanten Märkten und/oder Fachgebieten.
• Fähigkeit, interne/externe Thought Leadership zu liefern und andere von Ideen und Lösungen zu überzeugen.
• Erfahrung in komplexen Verhandlungen auf Managementebene und Umsetzung neuer Lösungen.

• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in geographic information systems, qualify opportunities, conduct Proof of Concepts, and support sales and contract negotiations;
• Analyze market, technology, and customer requirements and continuously develop and adapt use cases, solutions, and value propositions for defense and security customers;
• Develop innovative solution and application scenarios with customers, partners, and interdisciplinary internal teams to support mission-critical requirements;
• Build, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships, collaborations, and networks with relevant stakeholders from defense, security, industry, and research;
• Position Esri as a thought leader in Defense, Security, and Geospatial Intelligence through expertise, market presence, and active representation at relevant events;
• Participate actively in professional committees, communities, and networks, and build and maintain contacts up to decision-maker and executive level.

Требования

• Several years of professional experience in the Bundeswehr, the Ministry of Defense, or companies in the defense or armaments industry;
• Extensive experience with projects or sales of IT technologies or software solutions, ideally in geographic information systems (GIS);
• Established networks up to decision-maker level in relevant markets and/or subject areas;
• Ability to provide internal and external thought leadership and convince and inspire others with ideas, technologies, and solution approaches;
• Experience leading complex negotiations, involving management levels, and successfully implementing new solutions and first-time initiatives through completion;
• Strong communication and persuasion skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and an independent, goal-oriented working style;
• Experience developing solution approaches, pilots, and selling complex technology and software solutions;
• Confidence working with business cases, business plans, strategic account plans, and risk assessments;
• Completed university degree or comparable qualification.

• Annual gross salary ranges from EUR 59.000 to EUR 100.000;
• Annual performance-based profit-sharing participation is provided;
