Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Demand Generation strategist with a strong focus on digital accessibility solutions. This role combines outbound demand generation, cold calling, email campaigns, and consultative selling to generate qualified leads and drive new business opportunities for our E-commerce services and Accessibility offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify companies and sectors that require digital accessibility compliance (WCAG, ADA, Section 508, etc.).
- Target and establish strategic relationships with organizations in key verticals such as e-commerce, education, government, healthcare, and finance.
- Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads through outbound outreach including email, LinkedIn, industry events, and cold calls.
- Understand client needs and clearly articulate how our accessibility services such as audits, remediation, compliance support, and testing can address their challenges.
- Educate prospects on the importance, business value, and legal requirements of digital accessibility.
- Get projects from offshore clients (US/UK) for the development of Mobile Apps (iOS & Android), Website Design & Development on multiple platforms and technologies such as Shopify, Magento, WordPress, Squarespace, Custom application development etc.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to deliver customized proposals, demos, and presentations.
- Work closely with marketing to align messaging and outreach strategies tailored to each vertical.
- Execute cold calling and social prospecting campaigns to generate top-of-funnel interest.
- Qualify opportunities through discovery calls, identifying pain points, budget cycles, and decision-makers.
- Schedule demos and hand off qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- Accurately maintain CRM records (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) to track lead status, engagement, and pipeline health.
- Consistently meet or exceed KPIs related to lead generation, outreach volume, and meetings booked.
- Stay up to date on accessibility trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance outbound messaging and sales conversations.
- Support contract negotiations and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
- Marketing of Software products created by V Group including Mobile apps, and E-Commerce products using social media, blogs, emails, etc.
Demand Generation Marketing:
- Design and execute targeted demand generation campaigns focused on digital accessibility solutions.
- Manage and optimize multi-channel marketing efforts including email campaigns, SEO/SEM, paid media, webinars, and LinkedIn.
- Develop high-impact marketing assets such as case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, and campaign content addressing accessibility challenges.
- Analyze campaign performance, report on lead quality and ROI, and adjust strategies for maximum effectiveness.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure all marketing materials meet accessibility standards and accurately represent our offerings.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in business development, demand generation, or B2B marketing in the IT/services sector.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, particularly for SaaS or service-based offerings.
- Experience in cold calling, outbound prospecting, and managing lead generation campaigns.
- Familiarity with digital accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, Section 508) is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills with the ability to explain technical services to non- technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Experience using CRM tools and outreach platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in teams.

- Familiarity or prior experience working in the accessibility, compliance, or DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) domains.
- Knowledge of web development, UX design, or assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers).
