About the Role

As the Business Development Manager for Distribution, you will work with our Distribution Account Managers and Distributors to execute Business Development Programs globally. You will help align company strategy and build our corporate and SMB sales through distribution, focusing on helping distribution managed partners generate incremental partner sourced revenue for CrowdStrike.

You will meet and exceed your individual quota by collaborating with Distribution Account Managers (DAM) and their Distributors to build and execute CrowdStrike APEX programs globally. These programs generate pipeline through partner recruitment, enablement and business development activities within a packaged distributor-delivered initiative. You will work on account mapping with partners and CrowdStrike distribution and regional account managers to access new logos and influence deals.

Key responsibilities and metrics
  • Develop and roll out the CrowdStrike APEX program across multiple countries and distributors globally.
  • Recruit partners to access new logos through account mapping with partners to identify mutual opportunities.
  • Generate partner sourced revenue by enabling distributors to create new CrowdStrike pipeline via sales teaming, events, joint marketing and selling motions.
  • Drive growth of the distribution partner base through enablement and accreditations.
  • Drive upsell/cross-sell by leveraging APEX to encourage partners to sell the full platform, including additional Falcon modules and services.
  • Foster positive media, PR and industry event contributions from CrowdStrike APEX Distribution Partners as part of the GTM motion.
  • Support the development and execution of the Global Distributor Advisory Council.
What Youll Do
  • Strategic planning: Create and maintain a CrowdStrike APEX business plan with program goals and milestones.
  • Pipeline generation: Plan and execute CrowdStrike APEX programs with DAM support, including account mapping, enablement, certification, demand generation, events, and other activities aligned to the APEX framework.
  • Performance management: Maintain KPI measures for program and distributor performance, analyze indicators, and adjust plans with distribution as needed.
  • Engagement with DAMs across regions to develop APEX engagement strategies and program rollout.
  • Drive adoption: Work with DAMs to encourage uptake of the APEX program.
What Youll Need
  • 5-7 years of experience in technology vendor channel or distribution-led sales.
  • Ability to network across multiple levels within an account up to C-Level.
  • Experience in cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Ability to identify and influence critical decision-makers.
  • Proven track record in a quota-driven enterprise sales environment.
  • Strong business acumen and professionalism; leadership accountability is required.
  • Candidate must be based in the United States (remote).
