Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking within the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and across all management levels.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's or advanced degree.
  • Experience managing end-to-end partnerships.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, assess benefits, structure agreements, and negotiate terms.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

As a Business Development Manager on Google Play, you'll work on engineering backend systems, shaping product strategy, and forming content partnerships, enabling users to buy and access content seamlessly across devices.

The Global Partnerships organization collaborates with various partners to enhance Google's services, supporting products like advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, and more.

The US base salary range for this full-time role is $134,000-$196,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary specifics depend on location, skills, experience, and education.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with game developers to unlock opportunities for Play's games business.
  • Identify new content and secure agreements with developers/publishers, developing joint business plans aligned with platform objectives.
  • Partner with product teams to align on platform goals, advocate for partners, and communicate updates and policies effectively.
