Capital City College Group is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead our construction partnerships, win new employer partners and grow existing accounts. You will manage a pipeline, convert leads to apprenticeships and collaborate with curriculum and delivery teams to ensure what is sold is delivered well.

We value sector knowledge in construction, strong relationship skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales within construction.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

• Knowledge of bid processes and funding routes is a plus.

Business Development Manager: Construction Employers

This role is being offered on full-time, permanent basis.

About The Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to own our growth in construction, winning new employer partners, growing existing accounts and turning opportunities into apprenticeships.

You will build and manage a pipeline of construction employers, from main contractors to specialist trades and sector bodies, and convert leads into new business.

You Will

• Win new employer partners and grow the value of existing accounts
• Use market intelligence to spot opportunities, including levy and non-levy funding routes
• Record and report pipeline, conversion and income in our CRM
• Work with curriculum, apprenticeship delivery and Group colleagues so that what you sell is delivered well

About You

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:

• Sector knowledge or experience in Construction
• Business development / sales experience and a passion for education and skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Confidence working with systems and processes
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
• Experience in a business development role is desirable
• Most importantly, you’ll be ready to make a positive contribution to our college community.
