Meet the Team

The Cloud + AI Infrastructure (CAI) team delivers a scalable strategy with local execution for data center customer transformation and growth. We are the worldwide go-to-market compute and data center networking engine, engaging with sellers, channel partners, and customers to fuel growth for both our clients and Cisco. Our team builds sales strategies, activates sellers and technical communities, and accelerates solution selling daily.

Your Impact

As a Business Development Manager - AI, you will drive the adoption of our AI solutions within the "Rest of Cloud" segment, including Neo Cloud Providers (NCP) such as Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), emerging AI providers like AI-native cloud builders, AI SaaS providers, and AI System Integrators.

Your responsibilities include identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with their business operations. This role offers the opportunity to develop a comprehensive sales strategy to meet sales targets for products and services through relationship building and cultivation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in technology-related business development, focusing on innovative technology solutions.
  • Experience working with Venture Capitalists (VCs) or Private Equity (PE) firms funding AI projects and emerging AI companies.
  • Understanding business issues of Cloud Builders and Providers, including networking infrastructure, accelerated computing, data center technology, deep learning, and machine learning.
  • Ability to communicate complex Information & Machine Intelligence (I&MI) and AI infrastructure concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience bridging large-scale networking concepts with AI infrastructure (data center/compute).
  • Knowledge of deep learning, data science, NVIDIA GPUs, and data estate workloads.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with Engineering and Marketing teams to develop and launch AI or Networking Infrastructure offers.
  • Team-player mentality focused on creating win-win outcomes.
