Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding
Location: Heathrow
Salary: £40,000 – £80,000 Basic + Uncapped Commissions + Generous Perks & Benefits
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

A dynamic, multi-site Freight Forwarding company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their Heathrow office. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on freight forwarding experience, with skills in operations, key account management, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage a strong customer portfolio across Air, Sea, and Rail Freight services, identifying new opportunities to drive business growth.
Take full ownership of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, while meeting GP growth targets within a structured sales framework.
Actively generate leads, nurture relationships with new and returning clients, and capitalize on referrals from company operations.
Handle negotiations on price, delivery, and terms to ensure successful deal closures.
Collaborate closely with the Operations team for a seamless handover and integration of new clients.
Utilize CRM software to track and manage your pipeline, maintaining an organized approach to sales activities.

Requirements:
