Business Development Manager – Infrastructure / Water & Wastewater

This role focuses on developing new market opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and helping expand the organization’s presence in the infrastructure and water/wastewater sector.

This position plays a key role in identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.
You’ll work closely with leadership, operations teams, and marketing to develop strategies that strengthen market presence and drive new project opportunities.
📈 What You’ll Be Doing
Business Development & Market Growth
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in targeted regions and markets
- Build relationships with public and private sector clients
- Demonstrate how the organization’s services add value to infrastructure projects
- Provide early-stage project consultation and support to clients
Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients and project development teams
- Provide ongoing support and consultation throughout project lifecycles
- Maintain strong client engagement before, during, and after project delivery
- Develop a forward-looking pipeline of upcoming infrastructure projects
- Track client needs, decision makers, and project timelines within CRM systems
- Monitor industry trends and market activity to identify new opportunities
🎯 What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 10+ years of sales, marketing, or business development experience preferred
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, or water/wastewater markets strongly preferred
- Comfortable with direct client engagement and in-person relationship building
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
