Location (City, State): Remote

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $65,000 - $70,000 base salary + annual car allowance + quarterly bonus + commission

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; frequent travel (up to 80%)

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new business and expanding sales within the Sign & Graphics product segment. This role emphasizes customer acquisition, increasing sales of proprietary brand products, and expanding existing accounts. The BDM will also collaborate with other divisions to identify cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and post-sale support
  • Drive new customer acquisition through cold calling, referrals, networking, and industry events
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
  • Build strong relationships with sign shops, printers, and key stakeholders
  • Use CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) to manage pipeline and track opportunities
  • Develop tailored proposals and negotiate agreements with long-term value in mind
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of outside sales experience
  • Proven success in new business acquisition and account growth
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with outbound activity (calls, visits, networking)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred)
  • Must live in MD/PA/DE/NJ/NY/VT/CT/MA/NH/RI/ME
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Industry experience in Sign & Graphics a plus, but not required

  • Overnight travel (by car or plane) required, up to 80%
