Seay HR is hiring a Business Development Manager

OTE $150,000 (first year)

Orlando, FL – Remote – While this is a remote role and we do not have a physical office, the position is based in Orlando. Candidates MUST be located within 50 miles of downtown Orlando.

WHO WE ARE:

At Seay HR, we help small businesses navigate the complex world of human resources with clarity, confidence, and compliance. We understand that most business owners didn’t start their companies to become HR experts, and that’s where we come in. Whether it’s building smart hiring systems, managing employee relations, or staying ahead of ever-changing labor laws, we serve as a partner that helps our clients protect their businesses and take care of their people.

Our team brings decades of experience in HR strategy, compliance, and operations, but we don’t believe in cookie cutter solutions. We tailor our support to each client’s unique needs, balancing precision with practical, real world advice. From fractional HR leadership to hands-on guidance, we’re here to make HR feel less like a headache and more like a strategic advantage.

If you’re passionate about helping small businesses thrive and you believe that good employers build great companies, you’ll fit right in.

SEAY HR CORE VALUES:

  • Expertise: We know HR inside and out and stay on top of every change in regulation so you don’t have to.
  • Reliability: You can count on us to follow through—always.
  • Growth: We believe in constant learning, both for ourselves and for our clients.
  • Collaboration: We work alongside you and your team to solve problems, not just identify them.
  • Grit: We’re calm in the chaos and steady when things get hard. That’s when we’re at our best.
  • Appreciation: We value our clients and each other, and we show it.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. This person is responsible for the first step towards company growth. The BDM finds and closes new business through a consultative sales process. They qualify and sell to leads, prospect externally, and build a pipeline of new clients. This is our first dedicated sales role in company history. Hard work is a given in a role like this, and in order to be successful a BDM will need to love to work with business owners, entrepreneurs, and be active in the local community.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Seay HR is a 60 year old company that is in high growth mode after a recent change in ownership. This is an amazing opportunity to take your knowledge, experience and sales skills and put them towards building something special. New challenges present themselves every day, which means we’re constantly learning, constantly building and tweaking processes that make sense for our clients, and constantly re-defining what success looks like for ourselves. Our environment is dynamic and ever evolving, and for the person seeking change and growth, this might be the perfect place.
