Position Summary
Our client is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record of generating at least $500K in annual revenues in the temporary legal staffing market. The ideal candidate has deep industry knowledge, a strong national network, and the ability to close deals with law firms and corporate clients. This is a fully remote position offering autonomy and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on expanding our client base within law firms and in-house legal departments.
- Leverage existing relationships and networks to identify and close new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal recruiting and operations teams to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Conduct client meetings (virtual and in-person where applicable), presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Track sales activity and manage a robust pipeline.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities (in-person or virtual).
- Stay current with legal industry trends and staffing demands to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience in the legal staffing or legal services industry.
- Proven ability to generate at least $500K+ in annual revenues, preferably in the temporary/contract attorney market.
- Strong understanding of the legal staffing landscape and temporary legal talent solutions.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- U.S.-based; must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing book of business or strong network in law firms or corporate legal departments.
- Familiarity with legal project staffing, document review, secondee placements or managed legal services.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary from $90,000-$150,000 DOE + above-market commissions and benefits
