Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive talent acquisition solutions, prospecting new accounts, and expanding partnerships across the region.
The role focuses on closing sales, understanding customer staffing needs, and delivering value through our staffing and workforce development programs. Strong communication and CRM discipline are essential for success.
Implements strategies to achieve the goals for the organization and TalentBridge. Implements, revises, and sustains policies, procedures and programs. Responsible for generating profitable sales to meet new account and financial objectives, including gross margin. Implements effective sales strategies. Executes new business through prospecting, networking, and major account management activities, including pricing and negotiating contacts. Typical works on projects and initiatives that span 3 – 12 months.
1. Calls on prospective customers to understand their talent acquisition strategy and needs.
2. Develops and sells customer solutions based on their staffing/recruiting needs.
3. Closes sales and expands relationships, resulting in increased revenue, gross margin, and placements.
4. Documents calls and results in CRM, adhering to established documentation guidelines.
5. Develops and maintains customer relationships with new and current customers and develops key strategic partnerships.
6. Discusses customer needs, problems, or complaints, and arranges for meetings between customers or prospective customers and representatives of various company functional areas.
7. Analyzes customer and industry/market trends and competitor activity and adjusts sales strategies accordingly.
8. Drives the RFP process with timely quoting and the delivery of effective presentations, including coordination of the proposed service/work plan and closing the sale.
9. Enters and updates customer and prospective customer data in appropriate tracking systems, and prepares reports as required.
10. Project and Change Management: Effectively plans and manages own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments. May serve as a team member or subject matter expert on formal projects or within the department. Effectively engages in change affecting her/him, communicating appropriately with supervisor. Follows through on learning, skill building, and practice necessary to adapt to change.
11. Problem Solving: Light supervision; works independently. Periodic review of work by manager or senior coworker. Solves problems of moderate to advanced complexity; able to identify root cause, interpret data and resolve issues.
12. Technical Skill: Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations.
13. Community Engagement: Champions Goodwill’s community engagement initiatives and serves as an ambassador for Goodwill in the wider community.
14. Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
1. Two years of college education or experience equivalency, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
2. Experience in sales or marketing, or related experiences.
3. High-functionality knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include calendaring and scheduling.
4. Performs work under some supervision.
5. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers the more complex issues to higher-level staff.
6. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter, including the labor market, staffing industry and workforce development environment.

When determining placement within the salary range for this position Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago considers education, experience, internal equity, market demands and other qualifying criteria. It is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the rage for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each case.
