Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Business Development Lead to drive strategic growth and client acquisition across Transportation and Industrial Equipment markets in the United States. This contract, remote, and commission-based role is ideal for experienced professionals with a strong network, consultative selling skills, and an understanding of the design and transportation industries.

You’ll be the front line of D2Bridge’s outreach, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and helping shape the future of transportation, machinery, and equipment through design innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with prospective clients in aerospace, maritime, rail, transit, and industrial sectors.
  • Position and promote D2Bridge’s design services to decision-makers including OEMs, architects, engineering firms, and startup companies.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Collaborate with the design team to tailor proposals and service offerings to client needs.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging opportunities across transportation (air/sea/ground), industrial equipment, and public spaces.
  • Represent D2Bridge at virtual industry events, webinars, and online forums.
  • Track pipeline activity using CRM tools (familiarity preferred).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within aerospace, public transportation, architecture, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Familiarity with public and private sector procurement processes is a plus.
  • A relevant professional network in transportation (aviation, maritime, or mobility) is highly desirable.
