About the Role

The Project Development Lead – EA & Permitting reports to the Director of Environmental Permitting and is responsible for leading project development, business growth, and strategic initiatives within the Environmental Permitting & Regulatory and Environmental Assessment business lines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the Directors to develop business plans, understand strategic goals, and support business development.
2. Identify new project opportunities and develop service offerings tailored to client needs.
3. Support project initiation as a client interface to ensure expectations are clear and met by the delivery team, maintaining engagement for quality assurance.
4. Lead or support capture efforts, including strategy development, proposals, and value propositions.
5. Engage with clients through meetings, conferences, and industry events.
6. Build professional relationships to advance Ensero’s growth and strategic initiatives.
7. Serve as a Client Partner, developing key accounts over time.
8. Lead or deliver environmental planning, regulatory, permitting, and assessment projects.
9. Engage with government agencies, Indigenous groups, stakeholders, and communities.
10. Represent Ensero Solutions in regulatory and community meetings; oversee presentation preparations.
11. Conduct senior reviews of technical deliverables.
12. Promote and monitor environmental, health, and safety compliance.
13. Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned.

About You

1. Possess a university degree or equivalent experience.
2. Have at least 10 years of experience in environmental permitting or regulation.
3. Experience in environmental consulting or project management.
4. Proven ability to build relationships with Indigenous groups and government entities.
5. Knowledge of impact assessment and licensing regimes in Yukon, BC, and other jurisdictions.
