Business Development Lead at LifeAmongTheion full time

Location: Remote | Start Date: 3 Days After Acceptance

LifeAmongTheion is a startup on a mission to build a vibrant, community-driven brand that uplifts and connects people through innovative platforms like The Library of Theion. Founded by Josh, a strategic leader with a proven track record of driving growth and efficiency, we’re in the early stages of something big—and we need a Business Development Lead to help us take off! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on closing deals, building relationships, and growing a brand from the ground up. We’re looking for someone who’s all hands on deck, ready to work efficiently and stay laser-focused to help us reach our goals.

  • Identify and secure new clients to drive revenue for LifeAmongTheion.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with the team to align business development strategies with our community-focused mission.
  • Stay on task and work efficiently to meet targets and contribute to the organization’s growth.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to close deals effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, startup environment with a focus on efficiency.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to growing the team and organization.
  • Familiarity with tools like CRMs or scheduling platforms (e.g., Homebase) is a plus.
  • Compensation: $10/hr bi-weekly for the first 3 months. Your first payday (15 days after your start, covering your first half-month) will be $100 (10 hours, base only). After that: Payday 1: $200 (20 hours, base); Payday 2: $200 - $350+ (base + 10% commission per closed client). After 3 months, we’ll implement a reconstructed pay scale with benefits tailored for the team (e.g., start June 7, new pay scale starts September 7).
  • Schedule: Flexible, 3–4 days/week (20 hours), set via Homebase for a fair balance.
