Job summary

KWS Seeds USA is seeking a Business Development Intern in Grand Forks, ND. The role supports development activities including testing equipment, trials, and studies to evaluate new and current systems used internally and by customers.

The position is full-time, located in Grand Forks, ND, with an hourly base salary of $18.00. The intern will assist with sampling, testing, calibration, and customer support while coordinating schedules and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Organizational, planning and creative problem-solving skills.
• Computer skills and ability to learn new systems
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to operate automated equipment and/or hand tools
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Work with current and new systems used to sample and measure sugar beet quality.
• Collect, process and evaluate samples from R&D projects.
• Assist in calibration development and testing using Machine Vision and NIRS.
• Organize, catalog and ship materials.
• Control schedule to accomplish projects on time and within cost estimate.
• Maintain, repair and test equipment.
• Fabricate, test and update prototype equipment.
• Support current and new customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensure Company handbook, Rules, Guidelines, Procedures and safety policies are followed.
• Occasionally travel and/or drive on behalf of the business.
• Meet attendance requirements.
