Capgemini is seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales / Business Developer to lead business growth in our Engineering, Research & Development (ER&D) division for the CPRS – Services Sector business. This role is central to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and requires a strategic, customer focused approach to expand our market presence in the Services Sector. Engineering Services sales experience in the following areas - Logistics, Transportation, Distribution.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying and cultivating new business leads, driving growth through both short and long-term opportunities.
  • Building relationships with key prospects and clients and becoming their trusted partner and advisor.
  • Leading and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to craft compelling, tailored solutions that optimally showcase Capgemini’s outstanding value proposition.
  • Applying solution-selling methodologies to strongly position Capgemini Engineering across a range of offerings around mechanical engineering, software engineering, embedded software, systems engineering, connectivity, supply chain, and asset management.
  • Representing Capgemini’s strategic differentiators with confidence and expertise, ensuring our solutions meet clients’ evolving needs and drive innovation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 9 years validated experience in new business development.
  • Experience selling engineering services in the East Coast US.
  • Prior experience selling in the Services Sector- Logistics, Transportation, Distribution preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A consultative approach to selling, with a strong focus on delivering tangible, outcome-oriented solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $101,300 - $202,376.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.

Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
