Job description
Overview

The Business Development Executive is responsible for expanding YA’s litigation support business by identifying and securing new project opportunities. This role focuses on building relationships with attorneys and law firms, coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery, and supporting regional growth initiatives.

This is a remote role. However, candidates must reside in or around the Los Angeles or San Diego areas.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage new regional litigation attorneys, adjuster counsel, and legal project buyers
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers (RMs), Managing Partners (MPs), and technical leads to map legal services industry networks
  • Work with consultants, engineers, and other team members to ensure effective execution of initial assignments
  • Facilitate communication between business development and operations to support client needs
  • Participate in regional planning with Marketing and cross-functional teams to prioritize target firms and contacts
  • Align business development activity across service lines to avoid overlap and ensure clarity
  • Educate prospects on YA’s litigation, construction defect, appraisal, and related service offerings
  • Attend legal events and pursue leads with high-potential prospects and targeted attendees
  • Lead follow-up efforts for first-time buyers and support firm-level relationship development
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and pipeline in CRM
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a similar field or equivalent years of experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management
  • Familiarity with legal or professional services
  • Proven ability to deliver high-impact, client-focused service through exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.

Salary range: $105,000 - $115,000 + bonus opportunity

Title and pay will be commensurate with experience
