Business Development Engineer - Structural Products JN -052025-160096

Join a world leader in structural fastening solutions as a Business Development Engineer. This role combines engineering expertise with business development, working with contractors, engineers, and architects to drive sales, provide technical support, and build industry relationships in seismic and retrofitting markets.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and develop business opportunities with contractors, engineers, and construction firms.
  2. Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
  3. Provide technical guidance on seismic, wind-resistant, and heavy-duty fasteners.
  4. Conduct onsite client visits, presentations, and industry outreach.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to refine products and explore new market opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  2. Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience.
  3. 3 years of experience selling to general contractors.
  4. Strong knowledge of carpentry and masonry.
  5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
