Job summary

Holston Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a Business Development Director to promote services, build referral networks, and expand community presence. You will cultivate relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, and community partners to support census growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 19 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Proven work experience in marketing or business development, preferably within healthcare or behavioral health.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, including digital marketing methods.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies as needed.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with genuine interest in serving vulnerable populations.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to meet performance targets while maintaining professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel locally and attend events outside regular business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the facility’s services and increase community awareness.
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospital staff, case managers, social workers, and community organizations.
  • Conduct market research to identify new referral opportunities and emerging business development prospects.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing events, including community outreach programs, seminars, and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with internal or external marketing teams to create engaging content for digital platforms, brochures, and presentations.
  • Monitor and evaluate marketing initiatives by tracking key performance indicators and adjusting efforts for optimization.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of marketing activities, referral interactions, and prospective leads.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to support ongoing strategy improvement.
  • Represent the facility at industry events, meetings, and conferences to enhance visibility and establish professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with admissions, clinical teams, and leadership to support seamless referrals, admissions coordination, and strong customer service.
