For one of our clients, we are looking for a Business Development Director - Food Service Technology, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will lead the charge in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with chain restaurant clients within the North American food service industry. Your responsibilities will include crafting and executing sales strategies, acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and driving revenue growth. You’ll play a key role in expanding market presence, exploring new markets, and contributing to the platform’s overall business growth.

Accountabilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target and acquire new business within the food service industry.
  2. Manage client relationships, ensuring both current and new clients are satisfied and that opportunities for further growth are identified.
  3. Conduct research on potential clients in targeted markets, qualify leads, and convert them into successful agreements.
  4. Maintain up-to-date records of all client interactions and leads using Salesforce to track sales progress.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met, ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
  6. Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand your network and stay updated on market trends and competitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of sales experience in the restaurant or food service industry.
  2. Bachelor’s degree preferred, with experience in the foodservice or restaurant sector being an advantage.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  4. Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple clients and projects effectively.
  5. Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
  6. A valid and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
