Job description

As Business Development Director, you will lead the growth of one of the most influential teams in the hemp category. You will be empowered to shape and execute commercial growth initiatives, support revenue expansion across direct-to-consumer and emerging B2B channels, and identify new market opportunities, helping position the company, customers and partners at the forefront of industry trends.

While collaborating cross-functionally on data-driven marketing campaigns, optimizing pricing strategies, and contributing to scalable commercial foundations, you will have a direct impact on the company's long-term profitability and market presence. With commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation, you will make a meaningful impact within a regulated, rapidly evolving, medical science-first environment.

  • Develop and support the execution of growth initiatives aligned with the company's commercial objectives, driving customer acquisition, retention, and sustainable revenue growth.

  • Guide the identification and pursuit of new market opportunities, product categories, and revenue streams as the business continues to evolve.
  • Help establish and expand strategic channel partnerships, including formulators, labs, co-manufacturers, distributors, and other industry collaborators, to support market penetration and long-term growth.
  • Support the establishment and monitoring of commercial metrics, including revenue performance, pipeline activity, and marketing KPIs, aligned with overall business objectives.

  • Build, lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across sales, marketing, business development, and customer success or commercial functions.
  • As an executive you will meet the minimum standards of being a leader in terms of fiduciary responsibility, confidentiality, and strategic planning across the whole organization and its subsidiaries.
Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline management, and commercial reporting tools.
