Global Law Firm - Business Development Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and distribute marketing materials including brochures, practice descriptions, attorney biographies, presentations, and collateral assets.
- Provide support for business development initiatives such as seminars, webinars, sponsorships, podcasts, and client/prospect meetings.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target clients to support strategic outreach and positioning efforts.
- Draft and coordinate submissions for directories, awards, and ranking services (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, GCR, GRR).
- Manage and maintain firm databases and tracking systems, including CRM platforms, pitch trackers, collateral libraries, and experience databases.
- Assist with special marketing campaigns and business development projects as needed to enhance firm visibility and client engagement.
Core Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing, business development, or related functions within a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to analyze complex information, synthesize insights, and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborative team-oriented mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Nine-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and legal directory submissions.
- Knowledge of event planning and management.
- Familiarity with legal or professional services firm branding and marketing strategies.
- Prior experience supporting thought leadership activities such as podcasts or webinars.
- Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with marketing automation tools.
