About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time Business Development Consultant to join our team and drive growth for our satellite bus product sales. This role is crucial in securing new US-based clients and requires leading the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers in the satellite bus market.
  • Develop compelling and persuasive proposals that showcase GITAI's unique strengths, capabilities, and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, subject matter experts, etc.) to ensure networking and proposal activity are comprehensive and accurate.
  • Research the competitive landscape, identify potential partners, and develop innovative proposal strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and refine the networking and proposal activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven experience in Business development in the space industry.
  • Solid understanding of the space industry and current trends.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with key personnel at satellite services (EO, SATCOM, etc.) companies.

Location and Position Type:

  • Remote
  • Part-Time

Pay Range

  • $100-$250/hr
  • Compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration factors such as relevant knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
