About Daniels Talent Solutions (DTS)

DTS is a talent strategy consulting firm that partners with nonprofits, education organizations, and public sector agencies to build stronger workplaces through strategic talent solutions. We believe that organizations achieve their greatest impact when they have the right people, effective processes, and practical systems in place.

Our expertise spans executive search, talent strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and people operations. Through our signature People, Process, and Technology (PPT) Framework, we help mission-driven organizations recruit, retain, and train exceptional talent while creating workplaces where employees can thrive.

As we celebrate more than a decade of impact, Daniels Talent Solutions is entering an exciting stage of growth. We're expanding our client base, strengthening strategic partnerships, and increasing our presence nationally. We are looking for team members who are entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and energized by helping mission-driven organizations solve complex workforce challenges.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced strategic partnerships and business development leader to expand our reach, cultivate long-term relationships, and drive sustainable growth within business development. This individual will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships that increase organizational impact, generate new business opportunities, and strengthen our presence across the education and social impact sectors.

This is a full-cycle business development role responsible for prospecting, relationship management, proposal development, contract negotiations, and closing new business. If you're excited about building meaningful partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to the growth of a purpose-driven company, we'd love to meet you.

Requirements
Ideal Candidate Qualification

The ideal candidate brings 7-10 years of professional experience, including at least five years leading strategic partnerships, business development, or external engagement initiatives with demonstrated success in generating measurable growth, including qualified referrals, strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, closed deals, and sustained revenue growth. • An entrepreneurial consultant who has successfully built and scaled a consulting or advisory practice and is ready to bring that experience, independence, and entrepreneurial mindset to a growing organization.
  • A self-directed, relationship-oriented builder who is comfortable operating in ambiguity and significant change, building frameworks where they do not already exist, directly owning areas of work, and co-holding key relationships with the CEO while turning priorities into sustainable growth and impact.
Required
  • 5+ years of business development, strategic partnerships, consulting sales, or professional services sales experience.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles from initial outreach through contract execution.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand organizational challenges and position strategic workforce solutions.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, RFQs, and competitive proposals.
  • Excellent relationship-building, networking, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and utilizing reports/metric tracking/dashboards (ClickUp preferred).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred

  • Knowledge of government contracting, supplier diversity programs, or procurement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with executive leaders, HR executives, hiring managers, procurement professionals, and organizational decision-makers.
  • Research and qualify Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), staffing opportunities, consulting engagements, and strategic partnerships.

  • Build strategic partnerships with organizations, referral sources, chambers of commerce, workforce agencies, and community organizations.
  • Stay informed on workforce trends, labor market conditions, procurement opportunities, and emerging industries.
  • Track and report metrics including leads acquired, close rate, RFP submissions, discovery calls, etc., utilizing CRM dashboards
