BI Analysts review, verify, and curate data into dashboards to support research and provide Bloomberg Terminal users with analytical platforms.

We are seeking an experienced Equity Analyst to join our Financials research team, focusing on Business Development Companies (BDCs) and Asset Managers. This role involves analyzing business models, performance, and strategic directions of key players, creating timely research to aid Bloomberg clients in decision-making, and collaborating with top financial minds worldwide.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing high-quality research on financial sector topics that appeal to institutional investors and corporate users.
• Tracking company developments, macro trends, and managing coverage during earnings cycles.
• Collaborating across global teams and engaging with industry professionals, including investors, IR teams, and C-suite executives.
• Working with Bloomberg's Data teams to ensure data quality and relevance for research purposes.

Qualifications:

• +7 years of experience in Equity Research, especially in Financials, with buy-side or sell-side background.
• Strong skills in financial statement analysis, quantitative analysis, and synthesizing insights into clear communication.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, MBA, or similar advanced degrees preferred.
