Job summary

Zenus Bank International seeks a driven Business Development Analyst to support growth in banking, payments, and embedded finance offerings. You will work closely with the CFO and leadership to identify partnerships, analyze markets, and build strong business cases.

You will conduct research, maintain CRM records, prepare senior-leadership reports, and track revenue metrics while collaborating with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in banking, fintech, or business development.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and CRM tools; proficient in PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain target account lists and support outbound efforts.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work directly with the CFO and business development leadership to identify new partnership opportunities, conduct market research, drive revenue analytics and reporting, support sales initiatives, and help manage the business development pipeline. Responsibilities & Duties

• Research and identify prospective fintechs, program managers, payment companies, and embedded finance partners.
• Develop and maintain target account lists and support outbound business development efforts.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis across fintech, sponsor banking, payments, and embedded finance sectors.
• Assist with lead qualification, prospect outreach, meeting preparation, and follow-up activities.
• Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, financial models, and commercial business cases.
• Maintain CRM records and ensure pipeline activity is properly documented and tracked.
• Assist with due diligence and onboarding activities for prospective partners.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to support partnership evaluations.
• Track, analyze, and report key business development metrics, revenue performance, and sales performance indicators.
• Prepare executive reporting materials, pipeline updates, and partnership summaries for senior leadership.
• Monitor emerging trends across payments, Banking-as-a-Service, embedded finance, ACH, RTP, FedNow, and digital banking.
• Support conference participation, networking activities, and strategic growth initiatives.

What You Need for This Role

You're intellectually curious, commercially minded, and eager to learn. You enjoy working with data, building relationships, and helping drive growth initiatives in a dynamic fintech environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in banking, fintech, consulting, business development, sales operations, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in fintech, payments, Banking-as-a-Service, embedded finance, and digital banking.
• Business‑level Spanish and English preferred.
