SOLitude Lake Management, a Rentokil company, is seeking a Business Development Consultant in Chicago, IL to lead sales of pond and lake management services and grow the customer base in the assigned region.

You will develop territory growth plans, secure prospective client appointments, and meet quarterly and annual sales targets, leveraging Salesforce CRM. Travel up to 20% will be required as part of regional coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of hunting sales experience.
• Strong business acumen with customer relationship skills.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
• Willing to travel up to 20%.

In addition, they execute sales plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area via trade shows, homeowners' associations, and industry events****Duties & Responsibilities***** Sell annual pond and lake management services for the industry leader* Achieve Quarterly and Annual Sales Targets* Develop a territory growth plan and manage prospective customer lifecycle via Salesforce CRM* Secure prospective client appointments via participation in targeted prospecting, drop-offs, cold calling, and other selling strategies (i.e. marketing lead generation).* Prepare for appointments by executing prospective client research, tailoring sales materials, and leveraging available resources.* Meet with prospective clients to secure their business.
