Harbor Freight Tools is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders, distill analytics needs, and translate them into actionable specifications for delivery teams. You will analyze sales, marketing, and inventory data, provide reporting and insights, identify trends and opportunities, and support data-driven optimization across the enterprise.

The anticipated salary range is $110,800–$166,100 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to apply data-driven methodologies.
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Experience with reporting and data analysis across sales, marketing, and inventory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Ask critical business questions by applying analytical methodologies to drive decision making.
• Monitor and analyze operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
• Leverage sales data to provide insight into transaction patterns, product trends, marketing performance, supply chain and inventory.
• Partner with business users to understand needs and gather requirements while balancing technical feasibility.
• Provide data analysis and reporting to improve optimization and performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Development and Reporting teams.
• Participate in workflow analysis to identify requirements.
• Work with analytics reporting technology, such as data-cubes and data mining techniques.
