Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements from business stakeholders.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, data quality issues, and actionable business insights.
• Analyze source-to-target mappings and document end-to-end data lineage.
• Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, data dictionaries, and process documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Data Governance, Technology, and Business teams to deliver data solutions.
• Define data quality rules, validation controls, reconciliation processes, and monitoring procedures.
• Support data migration, transformation, integration, and modernization initiatives.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to support business and operational decision-making.
• Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand reporting, analytics, and business requirements.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, defect resolution, and production readiness activities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with 8+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, and data management initiatives. This role will partner with Business, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Technology teams to drive data-driven decision-making, support large-scale data transformation programs, and ensure high standards of data quality, governance, and reporting.
