The Business / Data Analyst partners with business units across the organization to define reporting and analytics needs and to design, build, and deliver reporting and analytic solutions on the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platform. This role turns business questions into clear, trusted, and actionable deliverables — reports, dashboards, and semantic models — that help leaders and users make decisions.
This is primarily a reporting and analytics role rather than a data-platform engineering role: the Business / Data Analyst elicits requirements, models data for analysis, and produces the business-facing deliverables, complementing the BI / Data Warehouse Developer who builds and maintains the underlying data warehouse and pipelines. The person works independently with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions with limited day-to-day direction from IT management.
This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with hands‑on proficiency in the Microsoft Fabric / Power BI stack (data modeling, DAX, and Power Query) and SQL for accessing and validating data, and attention to detail and data accuracy.
