Position Title: Business Data Analyst

Location: 320 Park Avenue, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10022

Job Description: The Business Data Analyst in New York, NY, will collaborate with the Data Strategy team to optimize data availability and delivery on the Databricks platform. Responsibilities include writing Business Requirement Documents, creating standard databases for research, guiding data engineers, designing tables and views using Spark SQL, developing proof of concepts with Power BI dashboards, and advising on insurance data attributes. The role may require work at various sites across the U.S. and allows telecommuting from anywhere.

Requirements: Requires a master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field, plus one year of experience in a relevant role. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree plus three years of experience is acceptable. Experience must include gathering requirements, managing projects, working with SQL and data modeling, data visualization with Power BI or similar, and scripting with R and Python.
