Job Overview

As a Business Controls and Testing (BCT) Senior Manager, you'll serve as a first line of defense risk professional responsible for supporting and executing various risk programs and activities aligned with the Company's risk appetite and corporate strategy. You will engage with business units to manage risks and controls across all risk types, monitor adherence to risk policies, procedures, and programs, and act as a communication link between Risk Management and business units.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and execute risk and control updates for complex business functions, collecting data from various sources, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
2. Identify, confirm, and challenge risks and controls, guiding assessments and addressing gaps. Lead discussions with risk experts regarding risk severity and context.
3. Conduct meetings with clear objectives, build relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to improving control testing methodologies and reporting. Provide insights on control environment health regularly.
4. Engage proactively with issue management to enhance control frameworks, maintain documentation, and track progress of risk and control activities.
5. Lead and develop a team, overseeing hiring, coaching, performance management, and training.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Previous leadership experience is required.
• Deep knowledge of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
