Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Specialist for our client in Grapevine, TX. You will plan and conduct technology recovery tests, develop awareness programs, and support responses to audits and documentation related to enterprise resilience.

You will collaborate with leadership to maintain crisis response plans and provide BCM data for scorecards and stakeholder briefings. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in BCM/BCP/DR and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar preferred.
• Professional BCM/BCP/DR certifications (e.g., MBCI, CBCP) preferred.
• 5+ years of demonstrable BCM/BCP/DR experience.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter who works independently and in teams.
• Familiarity with ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800-3.

• Develop and deliver awareness and training programs (including online training content) to staff on business continuity, technology recovery, and enterprise resilience topics


• Support responses to customer requests, audits, and maintenance of documents related to enterprise resilience


• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and maintain crisis response planning, management, and communication


• Develop and provide BCM program data for scorecards and reports, and brief stakeholders

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (Information Systems, Computer Science or similar preferred) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


• Professional certification such as Certificate of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or similar


• 5+ years of demonstrable experience with BCM or BCP/DR


• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills


• Must be a self‑starter, able to work independently, and as a part of a team in a fast‑paced environment


• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-3

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
