Job Description:

This role involves consulting on corporate business continuity topics with clients. Key responsibilities include recommending and implementing solutions to protect the bank's assets, leading or participating in business continuity initiatives such as scenario analysis, plan development, testing, event management, and progress reporting. The role also provides subject matter support in audit and regulatory matters as needed.

The Enterprise Resilience Exercise Planner is responsible for enhancing the Bank's resiliency by planning, conducting, and evaluating exercises. This involves consulting on global business continuity management, crisis management, operational resiliency, and recovery planning. The role includes surfacing issues affecting resiliency, facilitating cross-functional activities, and collaborating extensively with domestic and regional partners. It also involves working with design teams on scope and deliverables, especially related to MRA initiatives.

Exercises are designed to stress and evaluate plans and playbooks, identify areas for improvement, and ensure effective response in crises. The Exercise Planner plays a key role in planning, designing, scheduling, and managing enterprise exercises related to stress scenarios, requiring a solid understanding of relevant rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments to develop and monitor business continuity strategies
  • Evaluate performance of plans, processes, and programs, and assess progress towards objectives
  • Implement and modify procedures for incident response and critical service continuity based on testing and actual events
  • Support testing of business continuity plans to assess readiness and identify deficiencies
  • Identify and escalate gaps in business continuity to senior management
  • Create executive presentations on scenarios and objectives
  • Plan, design, and conduct exercises; manage observations through to completion
  • Consult on operational resilience and recovery topics
  • Facilitate exercise planning and coordination

Required Skills:

Desired Skills:

  • Degree in Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, or related field; Business Continuity Certification (BCI or DRII) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in response and exercise management and facilitation
  • Project management experience
  • Consulting experience is a plus

Pay Transparency: The salary range is $80,700 - $121,800 annually, with offers based on experience, education, and skills. The role is eligible for discretionary bonuses and benefits.
