The Business/Budget Analyst Consultant / IT Budget and Contracts Manager will assist in analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and providing insights and creating visually appealing presentations to support strategic decision-making during the consulting period. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist in analyzing financial data and creating budget models to support business decisions.
2. Help prepare and present budget reports, forecasts, and plans.
3. Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities; present findings clearly.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
5. Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
6. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• Some experience or internships in a Business/Budget/Financial Analyst role or similar.
• Basic proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Familiarity with financial software (e.g., Workday Adaptive) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in finance or business analysis preferred.
