Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter I to join its underwriting team in Flint, MI. You will assess creditworthiness, review financial information, and ensure compliance with lending policy to support commercial banking clients.

You'll maintain your own pipeline, make sound credit decisions within authority, and collaborate with teammates to manage risk and deliver customer-focused service in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+years’ business or commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience in a centralized lending environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources
• Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor

Compensation Range

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
