Role Description

The Business Banking Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, FL. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with business members, identifying their financial needs, and recommending appropriate banking products and services. Daily responsibilities include assisting business members with deposit and lending solutions, supporting treasury management services, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of business transactions. The specialist collaborates with internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service, resolves member inquiries, and helps businesses optimize cash management and financial operations. This role also involves proactive outreach to existing and prospective business members and adhering to regulatory and internal policy requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management and Customer Service skills to effectively support and grow business member relationships.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Treasury Management and Finance to assist with cash management, deposit, and lending solutions for business members.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, to interact with business members and internal stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in business banking, commercial banking, or financial services, preferably in a credit union or community banking environment.
• Ability to analyze business financial information and make sound recommendations aligned with member needs and risk guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with banking systems and common office software.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities and goals.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
