Job summary

Citizens is seeking an SBA Sales Specialist to provide SBA training and knowledge support to Relationship Managers, helping identify and sell SBA opportunities and ensure a smooth loan process.

You will assist in processing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, engage third-party groups across assigned geographic markets to develop credit-enhanced leads, and explain SBA programs to customers with the goal of a positive experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years SBA lending required.

• 5+ years of direct SBA/Government guaranteed lending experience.
• Deep knowledge of SBA SOP.

As a SBA Sales Specialist, you will provide SBA training and knowledge support as a subject matter expert in the supported market, assist Relationship Managers (RM) with processing SBA 7(a) and 504 loans to ensure the process is managed efficiently and the customer experience is positive, and direct calling on third party groups (CDCs, CDAs and other government agencies) throughout assigned geographic markets in a direct effort to develop credit enhanced loan leads.

Qualifications

• At least a minimum of 5 years direct experience with SBA/ Government guaranteed lending.
• Deep knowledge of SBA SOP

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $134,000 - $166,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
