Structures, maintains, and governs the enterprise business architecture models, business processes, organizational structure, and business information, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives. Leads resolution of complex enterprise problems or opportunities to bridge gaps between planning and execution of strategy. Proactively identifies and mitigates risks, gaps, or issues that hinder strategic goal achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to provide an enterprise view of business functions, processes, capabilities, and enabling technologies, ensuring integrity during strategic planning and initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership, program, and project teams to synthesize documentation and drawings, articulating their relevance to organizational and business issues.
- Define and maintain strategic, core, and support processes that span organizational boundaries; identify external entities involved in these processes.
- Define enterprise-wide data sharing and relationships, capturing roles, capabilities, and organizational structures.
- Develop and maintain business architecture models representing organizational structure, processes, technology, information flow, and interdependencies.
- Align enterprise goals with measurable metrics for governance.
- Guide the design and implementation of business solutions across projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate governance to ensure solutions adhere to architecture guidelines, minimize costs, and align with future strategies.
- Serve as the expert for complex business initiatives, ensuring alignment between planning and execution.
- Assess business capabilities and organizational readiness for new solutions, developing plans for change management.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for solution alternatives to ensure they meet strategic objectives.
- Provide ongoing guidance during solution implementation, adjusting plans as needed.
- Liaise with IT to ensure business solutions align with technology strategies and capabilities.
Job Specifications
Typically requires:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience analyzing complex problems and providing solutions, including data and statistical analysis.
- Experience with model-based representations and business process modeling tools.
- Ability to visualize and develop high-level models for future analysis.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills across all organizational levels.
- Expertise in enterprise-wide business applications and technology integration.
- Ability to analyze the big picture while maintaining detail-oriented focus.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing organizational change.
- Proficiency in research, data gathering, and facilitating meetings.
- Teamwork, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
