Job summary

Harvest Midstream Company is seeking an IT internship candidate to support the Information Technology team across enterprise applications and analytics. You will gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, analyze data, and participate in project delivery.

The role offers hands-on experience with data analytics, reporting, and business processes, with exposure to cybersecurity, change management, and data governance as part of company standards.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a four-year college or university.
• GPA requirement of 3.25 or higher (preferred 3.5+).
• Interest in oil & gas industry and business applications.
• Basic understanding of databases, data analytics, reporting, or programming.
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Python, APIs or similar tech preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support IT analysts with maintaining enterprise applications and resolving issues.
• Gather requirements by working with business users and IT team members.
• Document business and technical requirements for projects and improvements.
• Develop test scenarios and support user acceptance testing.
• Analyze data and assist with reporting and visualization using Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
• Help develop dashboards, reports, and workflows to improve information access and efficiency.
• Document processes, training materials, and application procedures.
• Assist with IT projects and track tasks, issues, and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to automate or improve business and IT processes.
