Position Summary

The Business Applications Analyst II reports to the Assistant Manager, Business Applications. This role involves leading troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of Business Applications.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to implement new technology and resolve issues.
  • Participate in testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Design and ensure functionality of business application systems.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to improve patient care quality and efficiency.
  • Engage with vendor support and maintain business relationships.
  • Provide updates and training on system functionalities.
  • Ensure compliance with accrediting standards and safeguard protected health information.
  • Monitor help desk tickets, assist users, and perform system monitoring and upgrades.
  • Lead process improvements and adhere to policies.
  • Participate in incident response and project planning.
  • Assist with application design, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Mentor team members and support training initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • HB and PB Claims and Remittance certifications preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience with business applications as an advanced user or analyst.

Work Environment

Primarily remote work with 90% sitting and 10% physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Onsite presence as needed.
