We focus on data management, business intelligence, and advanced analytics to support functions related to market access and patient support programs.

How You'll Make a Difference

This key role supports a complex area within healthcare data and product development. You will collaborate on analytic and product development efforts, helping design Forsyth’s data products for research in the Pharma Analytics space. Responsibilities include mining unstructured data, developing healthcare ontologies, use cases, data curation models, and algorithms to bring research-ready datasets to market. You will work with Technology, Analytics, and Client Services teams to demonstrate Forsyth data capabilities to clients.

Role Summary

The Senior Advisor role involves impacting the design and development of the Forsyth Enterprise Data Model. Key responsibilities include:

• Query multiple data types (claims, EMR, labs, chargemaster) using SQL to understand patient activity and investigate data gaps.
• Influence the data model for observational research.
• Develop algorithms for derived variables and metrics.
• Gather requirements and work with Data team to implement datasets.
• Create vocabularies and ontologies for data standardization, including unstructured data.
• Document data products, including ERDs and onboarding/best practices.
• Provide RWD training, analytics guidance, and use case support.
• Assess new data sources and incorporate them into the model.
• Manage multiple projects, negotiating timelines with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in analytics solving complex problems, with a related Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience with SQL and large relational databases.
• Expertise in healthcare data types and standards (ICD, CPT, LOINC, etc.).
• Attention to detail, data integrity, and strong communication skills.
• Desired: experience with RWD in healthcare research, programming languages (SQL, SAS, R, Python), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).

Internet connection must be broadband with at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload for remote work.
