We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Business Analytics Lead to drive high-complexity, cross-organizational initiatives for Engineering, the largest organization within Two Sigma. Our team owns analyses from start to finish. We frame the question, build the data and models, develop the recommendation, and communicate it to senior leadership. We are a forward-thinking team of analytical and operational athletes collaborating across Engineering and Two Sigma.

In this role, you will contribute significantly to various projects. You will also be encouraged to develop skills in business analytics, engineering, business strategy, financial modeling, and executive communication.

You Will Take On The Following Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, non-routine analyses to enable leadership to make high-quality decisions.
• Build financial and operational models - projections, scenario evaluations, and cost-benefit cases - and develop clear, defensible recommendations from them.
• Author decision materials for senior executives, translating sophisticated quantitative findings into a narrative that lands.
• Identify and size efficiency and cost savings opportunities, then partner with Engineering to complete them and supervise results.
• Build the datasets, metrics, and dashboards that make these analyses repeatable and link the impact of technology efforts to business outcomes.
• Design the frameworks and processes through which Engineering allocates and supervises its resources, and own the recurring reviews and reporting on our annual plan.
• Drive alignment across functions - Engineering, Product, Modeling, Finance, and Corporate - to collaborate, surface the right questions, bring partners along, and carry recommendations through to action.

You Should Possess The Following Qualifications

• BS degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Statistics.
• Minimum 1 year of experience, 3-7 years of experience preferred in business analytics, management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate finance, technical program management, or a comparable role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills - you've built forecasts, scenario analyses, and business cases from large and imperfect datasets, and you know which assumptions matter.
• Experience building for executive audiences - you've structured and written presentations for senior leaders and influenced consequential decisions with them.
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and visual - with a talent for translating sophisticated technical and financial detail into clear, business-friendly language.
• A collaborative working style - you build trust with colleagues across the firm, ask good questions, and get inputs you need without formal authority.
• Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to organize and deliver several concurrent, cross-functional workstreams with explicit timelines.
• Comfort with ambiguity - you can take an open-ended question, structure it, and make progress without waiting for detailed information.
• Familiarity with technology or infrastructure economics is a plus, as is experience using GenAI tools to accelerate your own work.

The base pay for this role will be between $150,000 and $225,000. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans and 401(k) contributions. Discretionary bonus can be a significant portion of total compensation. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
