Business Analytics Advisors - Hybrid (Finance)

The job profile for this position is Business Analytics Advisor, a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities

1. Build applications/solutions and identify opportunities for technical enhancement, process automation, and process improvements based on business requirements.
2. Assist with Medicare and Medicaid reporting by utilizing data warehouses to create compliance, oversight, surveillance, information, custom client, and mandatory Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reports.
3. Analyze, design, and develop new code.
4. Change existing programs, prepare test cases, set up test data, and conduct unit testing of code changes.
5. Perform technical design, program unit, and system tests to verify software meets requirements and isolate written code to test its performance.
6. Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and perform regression testing, ensuring changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
7. Develop solutions to observed test failures.
8. Manage code promotion to various regions to support quality assurance testing, installation in production, and postproduction monitoring.
9. Utilize Agile methodologies to create and update documentation for application changes and analyze and resolve issues in production jobs.
10. Conduct and participate in walk-throughs for technical specifications, test cases, coding, test results, and tracking for stakeholders.
11. Work in a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Systems, Computer Applications, or related fields, plus at least three years of experience in software development. Experience must include healthcare domain knowledge, Teradata SQL, Mainframe technologies, FastLoad, Mload, Basic Teradata Query (BTEQ), JIRA, Agile methodologies, and GITHUB.

For remote work, a broadband internet connection with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds is required.
