Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Business Analyst to own discovery and requirements for a workforce development SaaS platform (WIOA case management, labor exchange, services, outcomes, reporting). Translate program needs into build-ready user stories and support UAT and go-live.

The role focuses on documenting workflows, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, QA to design solutions and manage changes.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in workforce development with program domain knowledge (WIOA, labor exchange, eligibility, intake, reporting).
  • Strong facilitation and documentation skills; can turn complex processes into testable requirements.
  • Project and grant performance: build a repeatable financial operating model with budgets, burn rates, cost allocation, and metrics.
  • Client-facing deliverables: partner with QA to deliver audit-ready financials that we’re proud to put our name on.
  • Finance cadence: lead monthly close and quarterly reporting with a clear narrative.
  • Cross-functional problem-solving with operations and client-facing teams.

Summary:

  • Finance cadence that builds confidence: Lead monthly close and quarterly reporting activities, creating predictable outcomes with a clear narrative.
  • Controls that support momentum: Strengthen controls and compliance while keeping the business moving fast.
  • Strategy and Planning: Translate tradeoffs into decisions - forecasting, scenarios, and recommendations that help us pick the right direction together.
  • Cross-functional problem-solving: Work hand in hand with the operations and client-facing teams when financial issues arise, before they become escalations.
