Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong SAS and SQL development experience to support marketing campaign data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Tier 1 background, recent FinTech or banking domain experience, and a deep understanding of audience management, data analysis, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and document technical specifications.
• Interpret marketing strategy and translate it into actionable data and code.
• Perform end-to-end code analysis and identify missing data elements from upstream sources.
• Build and maintain data dictionaries and campaign data foundations.
• Pull and manipulate data from internal and external sources using SQL and SAS.
• Develop, debug, and execute SAS/SQL code to define campaign populations.
• Ensure data and process integrity across marketing initiatives.
• Communicate data nuances and insights to stakeholders to optimize marketing programs.
• Complete projects independently from start to finish.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of onsite experience in a Tier 1 environment.
• Recent experience in the FinTech or banking domain.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and/or SAS on platforms such as Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business).
• Strong logic, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
• Results-oriented with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions and user-friendly outputs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in campaign marketing and targeted marketing campaigns.
• Experience in ERP change management or organizational readiness projects.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Certifications:

• SAS Base Certification or other relevant certifications.
