Job summary

TMC TECHNOLOGIES in Washington, DC is seeking a Business Analyst/Tester who can map enterprise processes and elicit IT requirements to support FBI IT systems. US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance are required to start.

You will identify functional requirements, write user stories, test developed stories, participate in Agile sessions, and help translate vision into actionable business processes.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience (including internships)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience using Jira as part of the Atlassian tool suite
• Preferred: enterprise process reengineering, process mapping, Agile environment

Responsibilities

Job Description

TMC is in search of a Business Analyst/Tester who also has experience in enterprise process mapping and IT requirements elicitation to support ongoing development of critical FBI IT systems. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess an active Top Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.

The Business Analyst/Tester will possess the following:

• - Identifying functional requirements and creating user stories
• -Skilled in testing developed stories to ensure application quality assurance
• - Experience working in an Agile development environment, including story writing
• - Prepare and participate in internal design sessions
• - Assist an organization to translate its vision and strategy into core human resource and business process
• - Lead clients through streamlining, reengineering and transforming business processes
• - Experience performing IT requirements elicitation
• - Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives
• - Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable
• - Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date
• - Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
